Business Manager restricted: how to appeal without losing your assets

A Business Manager restriction is more serious than a single ad account ban because everything valuable sits inside it: pages, pixels, catalogs, audiences. Your first priority is asset preservation, not the appeal.

Step 1: preserve access to your assets

Pages and pixels can usually still be assigned to a second Business Manager even while the first is restricted, provided a page admin with a healthy personal profile exists. Add that admin now, before the restriction hardens.

Export your custom audiences and catalog feed while you still can. Audience data cannot be recovered from a fully disabled BM.

Step 2: appeal from the right identity

Appeal from the profile listed as the BM admin, using the business documents that match the legal entity on file. Mismatched company names between the BM and the submitted documents is the most common rejection cause.

Step 3: rebuild in parallel, not after

Every serious advertiser runs a second verified BM as standing insurance. Rebuilding after the fact costs days you do not have; a verified BM held in reserve costs one line item.

Our Verified Business Manager comes pre-verified with clean history, so you can reassign pages and pixels the same day instead of waiting on a review queue.
